Global Series Network is the company behind Walter Presents, a video-on-demand service dedicated to hand-picking prestige, foreign-language drama from around the world. The service is curated by Walter Iuzzolino, a passionate drama fan, and prides itself on delivering high quality, award-winning content.

Walter Iuzzolino
Walter Iuzzolino was a former commissioning editor at Channel 4. In 2015 he co-founded Walter Presents, a global streaming service dedicated to showcasing award-winning drama from around the world. Since launching in the UK, Walter Presents has gone from strength to strength, rolling out in several territories including US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the Nordics. In November 2019 Walter joined forces with his fellow Walter Presents co-founders Jo McGrath and Jason Thorp to launch Eagle Eye Drama. The company has grown significantly in the past two and a half years and now has four returnable globally successful drama series on its slate: Professor T and Hotel Portofino for ITV, and Before We Die and Suspect for Channel 4. Eagle Eye Drama has also recently branched into animation with two Channel 4 Christmas specials, Quentin Blake’s Clown and Terry Pratchett’s The Abominable Snow Baby, and it has recently won a 6-part BBC commission, Quentin Blake’s Box of Treasures, an adaptation of six bestselling Quentin Blake books into a series of animated modern classics.

Jo is an experienced producer and broadcast commissioner, with a proven ability for developing returnable series and bestselling spin-off books for the UK and international markets. Formerly Head of Production for Fox International Europe, Head of Features for Channel 4 Television and Head of Factual for Tiger Aspect Television, Jo’s track record of combining mainstream appeal with strong brand identity has been utilised with stunning success in her role as Director of Marketing and Press GSN. The service launched in both the UK and US to huge critical acclaim and this year was nominated for Best Specialist Channel by the UK’s leading trade magazine.

Formerly the head of Fox Networks in the UK having run the Fox and National Geographic channels for ten years, bringing seminal shows such as The Wire, Breaking Bad, Dexter and The Walking Dead to the UK. Jason’s extensive commercial experience, driving content and schedule strategy across Europe, proved invaluable when he left Fox in 2014, to become the CEO of Global Series Network. Since launch the service has gone from strength to strength, out-performing all expectations. This autumn, in recognition of Walter Presents success, World Screen will be honouring Jason with a Trendsetter Award at MIPCOM.
